If you have never tried false lashes before, it is definitely worth giving them a try. Applying fake lashes can be a bit tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is actually quite simple. Just remember to take your time and to practice before hand! Fake lashes are an easy way to enhance your eyes and create a whole new look. So why not give them a try?
Little to No Eyeshadow.
There’s no rule that says you have to match your eyeshadow to your blush, but there is a certain look that can be achieved by doing so. For example, fun and flirty looking eyes can be accomplished by using a little bit of eyeshadow as the same colour as your blush.
This will give you a pop of color that really makes your eyes stand out, yet flows well with the rest of the face. If you want your eyes to look cleaner and more awake, then matching your eyeshadow to your skin tone is the way to go! This will give you a nude look with very little eyeshadow. Whatever look you choose, make sure it makes you feel confident and beautiful!
Wing Eyeliner is Optional.
Sharp wing eyeliner has been a popular beauty trend for several years now. But while many people feel that they need to rock a wing in order to be deemed ‘pretty,’ the truth is that wing eyeliner is totally optional for this look. In fact, some of the most beautiful Softgirl eyes don’t wear any eyeliner at all.
So, whether you’re rocking a sharp wing or letting your natural beauty shine through, know that there’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to eyeliner. Just do what fits your lifestyle.
Little to No Mascara on the Lower Lashes.
Bottom mascara is optional. You can go without it and still have a great look, or you can put on a little bit to define the lower lash line. This is the perfect technique if you find that everything smudges or moves on your lower, bottom eyes. This look is all about keeping the eyes flirty and lifted.
You don’t want your bottom eyelashes to be significantly darker than your top lashes. So, either commit to wearing a bit of mascara on the bottom edges to lightly define the eyes or wear no mascara at all!
No Dark Eyeliner in the Waterline.
One of the most important things you can do to keep your eyes looking bright and fresh is to avoid wearing dark eyeliner in the waterline. This keeps a gentle softness in the overall eye area. If you want a subtle pop within the eyes, use a natural skin tone eye pencil.
This will add contrast to your lash line and maintain those natural lifted eyes.
Filled and Defined Eyebrows.
We all know the power of a great eyebrow. The right brow can take years off your face, make you look more awake, and help bring symmetry to your features. This look is all about creating a naturally filled, full, defined shape.
Flawless, Matte Foundation.
To create the perfect Softgirl skin, use a satin or matte foundation. This look is all about having a flawless, matte finish to your skin that contrasts beautifully with your highlighter. To get this look, start by applying your foundation as usual. Then, add a satin or matte finish setting powder to your face.
Make sure to use a translucent powder so that it does not change the color of your foundation. Use a large powder brush to evenly distribute the powder over your face. Finally, use a small amount of highlighter on the tip of the nose, down the center of your nose, and on your lips cupid’s bow.
This will give you a natural-looking glow that will perfectly set off perfect, soft skin.
No Highlighter on the Cheekbones.
As any makeup lover knows, highlighter key to achieving a glamorous glow, but this look is all about drawing attention to the areas of the face that give a naturally, cute, lifted effect.
Shimmery highlighter on the cheekbones can give the face an unnatural and “egg” like appearance, and distracts people from the cute cheek blush.
Lots of Blended Blush.
A key feature to this makeup trend is by creating cute, blushing, flushed cheeks! Use a light pink or peach blush to the apples of the cheeks.
Then, blend the same density across the nose and closer to under the eyes. For a more dramatic look, apply on a bit more layers of a vibrant pink or red.
Tightlining is a great way to enhance the natural beauty of your eyes. Unlike traditional eyeliner, which is applied to the top and bottom lash lines, tightlining is done by lining the innermost part of the lash line.
This creates a more subtle look that still makes your eyes “pop”. In addition, tightlining can help to make your lashes look fuller and more voluminous.
When done correctly, tightlining gives your eyes a softer, more natural appearance. If you’re looking for a way to add a little bit of extra pizzazz to your makeup routine, tightlining is definitely worth trying!
Gorgeous Pink Undertone Lips.
There’s no need to overthink it when it comes to this lip game. A gorgeous pink undertone lip product is all you need to make a subtle statement, and the best part is that you don’t need any lipliner to create a blurred lip line.
Just use a little concealer on the outer corners of your lips and blend it in. Then, apply your lipstick or gloss of choice. Done and done! You’ll look like a million bucks without putting in much effort at all.
These youthful makeup steps are such a fun, easy, and trendy way to level-up your natural features! Whether you choose to integrate the flattering blush placement on the cheeks, flirty false lashes, or apply nose tip highlighter, there is a step that I know you’ll be able to try and love.
